bindElaboratorTo

                                    Elaborator elab,
                                    javax.servlet.ServletRequest request)

Stores the declaration information of an rhnSet so as to be used by the list tag while rendering a set.

Parameters:

listName - name of list

elab - the elaboratable object to bind to bind

request - current HttpServletRequest

lookupElaboratorFor

public static Elaborator lookupElaboratorFor(java.lang.String listName,
                                             javax.servlet.ServletRequest request)

Returns an Elaborator associated to this list if it was previously bound.

Parameters:

listName - the name of the list to who holds the set. Note: this must be a Unique Name .. See bindElaboratorTo method for more info.

request - the servlet request object

Returns:

returns the elaborator associated to the list.

generateUniqueName

public static java.lang.String generateUniqueName(java.lang.String name)

Generates the unique name for a list

Parameters:

name - list name

Returns:

"uniquified" name
